This study aims to determine the model of learning to play a role (role playing) can increase student activity on the subjects of public relations and protocol in managing content meeting the class XI student in Office Administration in SMK Karanganyar Academic Year 2014/2015 The research was the Classroom Action Research that was conducted in two cycles, each cycle contains such as planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subject was the students of class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the academic year of 2014/2015 that contains 36 students. Data sources were taken from teacher and students. The data were obtained by test and non test ( observation, and interview). Analysis of data is used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that: the application of role-play learning model can improve students' activity in managing content meeting. This can be seen in the first cycle in which a high percentage of student activity is 55.00% and increased to 75.00% in the second cycle,.
